In the period from August 15 to 17, 2022, the Vocational Education and Training Center conducted a workshop regarding Programming and planning od Work-Based Learning at an employer for a second year class, with an increased number of hours of practical education.

The workshop was carried out by advisors from the Vocational Education and Training Center: Ardiana Isahi Palosi, Ridvan Zeqiri, Marija Nastovska, Lepa Trpcheska and Azra Tutic, with participation of 83 representatives from 32 secondary vocational schools, teachers of vocational subjects and coordinators for Work-Based Learning as well as mentors from companies with which the schools cooperated for enrollment of classes with an increased number of hours for practical education in the 2020/2021 school year.

The expected results of this workshop are:
• preparation of a Curriculum for Work-Based Learning at an employer for classes with an increased number of hours of practical education, for second year classes with the application of the Guidelines for programming and planning of Work-based Learning at an employer,
• programming and planning of Work-based Learning at employers for classes with an increased number of hours of practical education.

With the realization of this workshop together with the project “Education for employment in North Macedonia” – E4E@mk which supports the advancement of the vocational education reforms in the Republic of North Macedonia, and it is supported by the Swiss government, it is expected that in the future, the participants (schools and companies) will independently plan activities for the realization of all types of practical education and will result in an improved cooperation between stakeholders to advance the quality of the realization of work-based learning at an employer.
