The third on-line meeting of the Financial Expert Group (FEG) was held, which focuses on activities in support of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia with the objective to establish a framework for improving the financing of the vocational education and training, as follows: provision of resources, allocation of resources and improvement of the resource management chain.
The FEG members agreed that the key priorities of the vocational education system and the employers (network optimization, improvement of the related legislation, work based learning at an employer, dual education, regional centers for vocational education and training) are an inevitable element of the financing of the vocational education and training system.
Several ideas for strengthening the partnership and joint investment ventures by the public and private sector were discussed at the meeting in order to provide quality and market-oriented training to VET students.
The meeting was attended by members of the FEG representing the: Economic Chambers, Ministry of Education and Science, Vocational Education and Training Center, Cabinet of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, as well as representatives of the Swiss project Education for Employment in Northern Macedonia.
