Teachers of vocational subjects from the State Secondary School – Regional Center for Vocational Education and Training “Mosa Pijade” from Tetovo attended the training on “Systems for environmentally clean engines and their maintenance” which was implemented by the provider State Vocational School “Gjorgi Naumov” from Bitola.

A group of teachers who attended the training “Systems for Environmentally Clean Engines and their maintenance” had the opportunity to attend to 4 sessions that covered the following topics:
- Introduction to automotive engines.
- Engine as a source of pollution, exhaust gases, tank and crankcase.
- Exhaust gas control systems.
- Engine control unit, sensors and emission control systems.
The provider of the training, the State Secondary School “Gjorgi Naumov” from Bitola, in addition to the theoretical part, also provided a video presentation of content during the training.

Furthermore, the training provider – the State Secondary School “Gjorgi Naumov” from Bitola has organized a demonstration of the systems for clean environmental engines at the SN Center for Motor Vehicles in Bitola, a private company that enabled the implementation of the practical part for training of teachers.

The “Training for systems for environmentally clean engines and their maintenance” which was carried out by the State Secondary School “Gjorgi Naumov” from Bitola has allowed us to acquire theoretical and practical skills, thereby providing us the opportunity to upgrade our knowledge and competencies as teachers in the vocational education. The modules that were realized during the training have helped us to upgrade our professional knowledge regarding the exhaust gases in motor vehicles as well as their maintenance. I believe that the practical part of the training that was carried out in the company SN Center for Motor Vehicles in Bitola allowed us to see in practice different examples of exhaust systems from a technical aspect of maintenance of motor vehicles, braking system, signaling system and I think that the trainings of this type, in addition to the theoretical part, should necessarily contain a practical part. I will be able to transfer the knowledge and information obtained during the training to my students during this academic year through the subject Internal Combustion Engines, thereby enabling the students to improve their knowledge. We also plan to implement the same training methods for the students, with the inclusion of a practical part in a company because it is of particular importance” – Mr. Dragomir Mitrovski, professor of vocational mechanical subjects at the State Secondary School – Regional Center for Vocational Education and Training “Mosa Pijade” from Tetovo.
The trainings that are being carried out allow the participants from the State Secondary School – Regional Center for Vocational Education and Training “Mosa Pijade” from Tetovo to adopt the competencies for which they are trained and to integrate them in their teaching practice, with the objective of higher quality teaching in the vocational subjects and practical education, which should result in acquiring of professional skills by the students in the State Secondary School – Regional Center for Vocational Education and Training “Mosa Pijade” from Tetovo.
With support from the Government of Switzerland through the project Education for Employment in North Macedonia – E4E@мк, a series of trainings are being implemented for the professional development of teachers in vocational subjects from the regional centers for vocational education and training in order to improve the professional knowledge and skills for the sectors in which they teach.
